ABOUT A|CB

Throughout its 27-year history Office of Cheryl Barton (O|CB) became a nationally recognized design leader in the shift toward a more sustainable future through landscape architecture and green urbanism. O|CB was committed to the creation of healthy cities, robust ecologies, and beautiful, habitable spaces; integrating a strong design ethic with the principles of regenerative thinking. 

The Studio’s award-winning work has been honored and covered extensively in the New York Times, The Washington Post, The San Francisco Chronicle, National Geographic, Landscape Architecture Magazine, EDRA Places, and more.

Founding Principal Cheryl Barton, PLA, FASLA, FAAR, LEED AP served as the President of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) from 1987–1988 and was a recipient of the 2004 Rome Prize in Landscape Architecture from the American Academy in Rome.

On April 1st, 2022 O|CB Studio staff joined forces with SCAPE Landscape Architecture DPC.
